ANNEX 5.1. Dietary outcomes
Diets comprise all the food that an individual habitually consumes. Dietary patterns refer
to the quantities, proportions, and combinations of unique foods and beverages that
individuals habitually consume and the frequency with which they do so.

- Share of the adult population consuming all five food groups
typically recommended for daily consumption (starchy staple
food; vegetable; fruits; animal-source food; and legume and nuts)
- Portion size of typical foods focusing on fruit and vegetable
consumption: Average daily number of servings of fruits and
vegetables at individual and household level
- Diet composition for children under five, adult women, and adult
men. Focus on ultra-processed foods consumption (if possible)
- Percentage of children aged 6–23 months receiving adequate
and appropriate complementary feeding (Minimum Acceptable
Diet - MAD)
- Children aged 6–23 months receiving zero fruit or vegetable
consumption
- Percentage of infants exclusively breastfed during the first six
months.
- Percentage of infants breastfed up to 24 months
