Common instructions for application (For the template of indicators and data, see
Annex 6)
- This 4 step should be organized by sector.

- There is no limit to the number of indicators included in the profile at this stage.
- Extracted information should reflect the typical characteristics of each province.
Indicators that focus on specific tasks and priorities of the province will be given
precedence.
- Prioritize the most recent and complete data.
- Where possible, extract data over time (e.g., at intervals of 10 years, 5 years, etc.).
Ideally, the data and information should cover at least 10 years with consistent
measurement to capture any significant changes or trends.
- Ensure the data source is well-documented, including links (if available) for
accessing the data.
- The initial list of indicators with data, aligned with the food system framework
and highlighted for each sector, will be shared with other local stakeholders.
The PWG is requested to recommend a list of relevant stakeholders/additional
organizations in each sector to review this initial list.
- Short meetings (online or in person) should be held in each sector to discuss the
list of sectoral indicators and address any issues encountered during the data
extraction process.
