HIGHLIGHTS FOR USERS
Members of the National Inter-Sectoral Supporting Group (NSG)
The NSG plays a vital role in supporting the PWG to facilitate the policy engagement
process for the implementation of the NAP-FST. It comprises national-level experts
from key sectors, including agriculture, nutrition and health, socio-economics and
trade, and environment. These experts are expected to play a key role in supporting
the implementation process of the NAP-FST.
During the pilot in Dong Thap and Son La provinces, the NSG was composed of
national-level experts from Vietnam Academy of Agricultural Sciences (VAAS),
Institute of Strategy and Policy on Agriculture and Environment (ISPAE), and the
National Institute of Nutrition (NIN), with two food system national convenors from
VAAS and NIN.
